Minister of Transport and Communications, Hon. Mutotwe Kafwaya M.P,
on Tuesday February 2nd, 2021, inaugurated the New ZAMPOST Board with
a call to re-invigorate the Corporation and make it more viable.
The Minister also announced that Government is currently
building Thirty Eight(38) New Post Offices further
cementing the Corporation's Country-Wide presence and
providing the much needed Postal Services.
In a bid to support Government's decentralization policy, ZAMPOST signed an MoU with the Ministry of Tourism, Art and Culture. The MoU is intended to give the Ministry unfettered access to Postal infrastructure and market various tourism attractions.
With ZAMPOST's Country-Wide reach and rare competences, the tourism Sector is poised for exponential growth.
Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Dr. Auxillia Ponga, signed on behalf of the ministry while Postmaster General ZAMPOST, Mr. Brighton Ngoma, signed for ZAMPOST.
